The Tampa Bay walk raised approximately $4 million toward breast cancer research and awareness education.  My team, Viva Las Chicas, raised over $120,000 in that effort!  Go, Chicas, go!!

I also want to take the opportunity to let you all know about an amazing event that I’m going to be a part of this year.  I am walking 60 miles for breast cancer awareness in the Breast Cancer 3 Day being held at the end of October!  All of the proceeds from this event will benefit both Susan G. Koman for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust  for breast cancer research and awareness education.   For my part, I have committed to raising a minimum of $2,300.00 for this cause.  Can you lend your support?  Any donation is greatly appreciated and can be made directly on line.  To learn more about this event simply visit www.the3day.org .  If you’d like to make a tax deductible donation, click on the “donation” box and search for me under “Participants”.   You may make a payment there directly or download the donation form to send in a payment by mail.  If you are interested in participating as a walker, crew member or volunteer there is information available for this as well!!
